Learn a new language for free online!
The Simcoe County District School Board offers children in grades 1 to 8 an opportunity to learn and/or maintain a language other than French or English. Whether you enroll your children in this program to learn a new language, understand a new culture or to extend their knowledge of their first language, every student can benefit from this program.
Registration instructions will be posted when the start date is confirmed.
Students enrolled in grades 1 to 8 are eligible to enroll in this program.
Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Korean, Mandarin, Ojibwe, Russian, Spanish, Tamil, Ukrainian, Urdu

Wednesday Program (Spanish and Mandarin Only):

In the event of class cancellation due to inclement weather we will post this information on our website as well as Twitter.
There is no cost for this program; however, we must have a minimum number of students per language in order to offer the class. Most classes fill quickly and are established on a first come, first served basis.
If you are a high school student interested in volunteering with the International and Indigenous Languages Program, please submit a resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please specify your proficiency in the language that you are interested in helping with. A reference from your school will be required.
